The LID Program is a faith-based fully-funded leadership residency that bridges the gap between college academics and real-world impact. Participants serve as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for adults with developmental disabilities while earning debt-free college credits through Anchor Christian University.

It is a "living classroom" where students develop professional stamina, proactive problem-solving, and spiritual maturity. Beyond the classroom, this is a journey of personal transformation:

• Master Essential Soft Skills: This program is a masterclass in the skills that modern employers crave but can’t always teach. You will walk away with a higher level of emotional intelligence, mastering the arts of active listening, conflict resolution, and high-pressure adaptability.
• Cultivate Character: As you navigate the daily joys and challenges of direct support, you’ll build a foundation of patience, empathy, and integrity that will serve as the "moral compass" for your entire professional life.

Guided by experienced mentors, you will receive the targeted feedback and wisdom needed to excel in your ministry role and accelerate your professional trajectory.
• Earn College Credits: Expedite your education while you serve. This program provides a direct academic pathway, allowing you to earn credits toward a Bachelor of Science degree through our partnership with Anchor Christian University with teaching from Arrowhead's Camp Director and LID Manager.
